Dwight Douglas Davis Sr.

Dwight Douglas Davis Sr., 61, of Point Blank, passed away in a Livingston hospital. Visitation will be held from 5pm-9pm on Sunday at Sterling-White Chapel in Highlands. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Monday at Sterling-White Chapel in Highlands with interment to follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.

Dwight was born on June 1, 1943 in Menard, TX to parents Hubert Garland Davis and Mary Margueritte Cox. He had lived in Point Blank for the last year after moving from Pasadena. He worked as a Pipe Fitter most of his life and was a member of Pipe Fitter’s Local #211 for 40 years. Dwight loved to be outside and enjoyed all kinds of animals and whatever else nature had to offer. He was a loving person who had many friends. His true hobby was his grandchildren.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents and brother H.G. Davis Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Marion Frances Davis of Point Blank, son Dwight Douglas Davis Jr. and wife Kim of Highlands, daughters Tina Clark and husband John of Alvin and Tiffany Davis of Point Blank, brothers Ross Davis of Jefferson and Richard Davis of St. Gabriel, LA, and sister Mary Smelser of Salt Lake City, UT. He is also survived by grandchildren Josh, Kallie, Trey, Hunter and Emma as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
